Dear Friends,

We returned from visiting our daughter and granddaughters in St. Louis. It is easy to feel and see spring. The robins, blue jays and cardinals are building nests. The irises and tulips are bursting out. Families busied themselves with raking the remaining leaves of fall and preparing their gardens. Here Spring is subtle. Many of you are ready to return to the north. The skies are beginning to cloud later in the day. Spring cleaning has begun.

Man's Ring

18KY Gold Diamond Gent’s Ring

Spring cleaning is not restricted to household duties and the washing of windows. A lady recently cleaned out her jewelry box. She had three diamonds of different sizes, clarity grades and colors. She brought them, not to sell, as they held a sentimental attachment; but to use to create a ring for her husband. The featured ring is the result of Lornie’s creative ability and the client’s trust that the execution of his idea would be perfect.

What is the importance in having a laser welder? I purchased an antique tea strainer in St. Louis to use in lieu of a muslin bag for spices in my soups. I noticed someone repaired it with lead solder to insure it didn’t melt during the repair process. Lornie took out the lead and made the repair safely with the laser welder. With the laser welder there is no heat that would result in damage. Antique jewelry is repaired with this technique.

Our son is now officially residing in London. His family will follow shortly.

Thank you again for your patronage and friendship. We appreciate all of you.

~HAPPY EASTER~

With love,
Lornie and Rose
