Our first thought in this New Year is to thank all of you for your support during the month of December.   These are indeed trying times for many of us.  We look forward to providing you with our professional service at affordable prices throughout the year to come.

Just when we think there is not another idea for style, he finds another way to express the imaginative nature of jewelry. The earrings serve a dual purpose. All of you have seen ads in the newspapers and magazines and news specials on TV for the “BUYING AND SELLING” of jewelry. We are asked daily about doing appraisals. The first question we ask is “What is the purpose of the appraisal?” An appraisal WILL NOT help you sell jewelry. It is in fact a deceptive practice to use a valid appraisal as a sale’s tool. These sales represent a liquidation value. There are few valid reasons for this value in an appraisal; one such valid appraisal for a liquidation appraisal would be court ordered in a divorce proceeding. All that is necessary to sell jewelry is to ask for an offer to buy. By inquiring at several jewelry stores or pawn shops, one will have the liquidation value.
