Dear Friends,

Our November begins on an unusual note. We will be in Liechtenstein to visit the Bibbs’ in their new home and then together we will return to the Red Sea to dive. Hopefully, we will come back with many great photos to share with you.

It is seldom our clients see the original designs we do. This ring is a commission from last month. We take an idea and make it visual in a Cad Cam program. We make any changes with the computer before the wax is generated and the piece of jewelry is cast. The Cad Cam programs allow for more perfection in a design. Hand carved waxes can be good, but are not as exacting as those done by the computer. Once cast, the metal is finished by the various stages of polishing. Then, the stones are set and the final finish work is done. A custom design by Lithos Jewelry is never replicated. It is a one of one. There is still ample time to create a piece of jewelry to gift for the holidays.

It is customary to wish a marine Happy Birthday on November, 10th, the Marine Corps Birthday. I want to wish Lornie, and our son, Sean, a Happy Birthday and thank them for serving our country.
